Nuno da Costa has left Nottingham Forest to join French club Auxerre on a permanent basis.
The forward becomes the latest player to depart the City Ground, on the eve of the new Premier League campaign. It had looked like he would be returning to former loan team Caen but he has instead agreed a move to Ligue 1 new boys Auxerre.
The Reds said in a statement on Friday night: "Nottingham Forest can confirm that Nuno da Costa has left the club to join French Ligue 1 side AJ Auxerre.

"The 31-year-old also had loan spells away from the club with Belgian outfit Mouscron in October 2020 before returning to France with Caen for the duration of the 2021/22 season.
"The club wishes Nuno all the best for the future."
