MGW transfer hope
Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cooper is confident the significant price tag is not weighing heavily on the shoulders of club record signing Morgan Gibbs-White.
The 22-year-old made the move to the City Ground in the summer for an initial sum of £25million, with the potential for add-ons to take that up to £42m. Saturday sees him return to his former club Wolverhampton Wanderers for the first time since that switch, with the Reds out to build on their 1-1 draw against Aston Villa.
Gibbs-White notched an assist in that match, setting up Emmanuel Dennis’ opener, in what was arguably his best performance so far in the Garibaldi. But Cooper believes he will go on to have an even greater impact in games.
