Nottingham Forest and Blackpool have reportedly agreed a £4 million fee for Josh Bowler ahead of a possible deadline day move.
The 23-year-old has been a target for the Reds all summer, as they look to continue to add to their squad before tonight’s 11pm deadline. Forest have already confirmed one deadline day signing with defender Willy Boly signing a two-year contract with the club.
It now seems that Bowler could join him at the City Ground, if he can agree personal terms and ‘other details’ on the move. According to the Sun’s Alan Nixon, Forest have had a bid of £4 million accepted by the Championship club.

Bowler has just one year remaining on his deal at Bloomfield Road, meaning he is available for a reduced price. The two clubs were said to be haggling over a small difference in valuations on Wednesday night.
During that time, Bowler started the Championship clash against Blackburn Rovers, which Blackpool lost 1-0. He has started all seven games for the Tangerines so far this season, scoring two goals.
There is reportedly still a hurdle to get over for Forest to be able to complete a deal, with the player yet to talk to Reds boss Steve Cooper. Discussions are likely to include where he fits into the plans at the City Ground.
The report adds that it is ‘still possible that the deal will collapse’ before the 11pm deadline, should the player and Forest not be able to agree personal terms. Speaking about a possible plan for the exit of the player, Blackpool boss Michael Appleton hinted that they don’t want a deal to go down to the wire.
“It's just the timing we need to make sure we don't kill ourselves and leave ourselves too short," he explained .
