Nottingham Forest will really be able to step up their preparations for the upcoming season this week.
Reds fans don't have too long to wait before they can start filling in their diaries with away days and visits to the City Ground for the 2023/24 campaign. Fixture release day is always one of the most anticipated of the summer, and it is just around the corner.
That it comes straight after the opening of the summer transfer window, makes for a significant week. Here's all you need to know.

When will the fixtures be released?
The 2023/24 Premier League fixtures will be released on Thursday, June 15 at 9am. NottinghamshireLive will bring you Forest's full fixture at that time.
When will the season kick off?
The campaign will start on the weekend of August 12-13. The final match of the season will be played on Sunday, 19 May, 2024, with all games kicking off simultaneously.
Anything else?
The 2023/24 schedule will include a mid-season break, which will take place between January 13 and January 20 2024. Next term will consist of 34 weekends, three midweek rounds and one Bank Holiday match round.
The first round of the Carabao Cup will take place in the week commencing August 7. If Forest manage to go one step further than they managed this year - when they were knocked out at the semi-final stage by Manchester United - the final will take place on February 25.
