Three men who conspired to bring tens-of-thousands-of-pounds worth of cocaine into Nottinghamshire have been jailed after police officers read encrypted messages between them and their suppliers.
Officers had tracked Jerome O’Connor, Jahvan Morris and Abdul Aziz for a number of months before following them to a deal in Suffolk and catching them on the way home.
Gang leader Jerome O’Connor had instructed Jahvan Morris to travel to Ipswich on June 9, 2020 to pick up a consignment of cocaine. They travelled in Aziz’s taxi during the coronavirus restrictions.
