Nottingham City Transport has announced a new electronic purse payment system for passengers. NCT's new Easyrider Purse is a smart card that acts as an electronic purse passengers can use to pay for any fare.
Singles, day tickets and groupriders can all be purchased using the news system, across all NCT services.
A spokesperson for the bus company said: "It's a convenient, cashless way to pay your bus fare, ideal for those without contactless bank cards or devices and for young people, who you may not want to carry cash."

NCT says its new Easyrider Purse cards aren't restricted to just one person, as the credit on the card can be used to buy tickets for anyone and more than one person at a time.
Passengers can order an Easyrider Purse card on NCT's website or at its Travel Centre.
