Nottingham bare-knuckle boxer in rare 'double knockout' as both fighters hit canvas

A bare knuckle boxer from Nottingham narrowly lost out after a rare 'double knockdown' which saw both fighters on the canvas. A video of the fight between Nottingham-born Andy Goy and Liam Hodgson, from Huddersfield, has gone viral with more than a million views worldwide.

Footage of the fight at Manchester's Bowlers Exhibition Centre on May 14 includes a rare 'double knockdown' with both men hitting the floor after taking big blows to the face. Andy, however, ended up losing the fight by a convincing knockout, Yorkshire Live reports.

Up-and-coming bare-knuckle boxer Liam, 24, is delighted a video of his first-round knockout of Goy had gone viral. Liam managed to jump back up but says the Nottingham fighter was out for quite some time.
