in rom com legend, it’s where Julia Roberts told Hugh Gran t: “I’m just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her.”
In real life, the flat above that famous bookshop in Notting Hill is up for sale for almost £2.4million.
The three-bedroom property is set over three floors on Portobello Road in West London, above the blue-fronted shop which provided the exterior for the Travel Book Co shop in the 1999 movie.
The film told of bookseller William Thacker, played by Grant, falling in love with film star Anna Scott, played by Roberts, after they meet in the shop.
Listed for £2,375,000, the flat has an open-plan reception room, kitchen with exposed brick wall and a terrace outdoors.
The gift shop below still has the blue facade from the film.
Hermione Russell, of sellers Russell Simpson, said: "This gorgeous apartment on Portobello Road is providing a purchaser the chance to own a piece of cinematic history.
"The beautiful triplex apartment, alongside its iconic location, is truly a one-of-a-kind sales opportunity.
"Alongside this notable home is on one of the most famous roads in the area, right in the hub of Notting Hill with several shops, bars, restaurants and the market close by."
Although the building's exterior was used in the film, scenes indoors were filmed in a private studio.
The building was formerly the Nicholls Antique Arcade and then went on to be a furniture shop called Gong.
It now currently serves as a gift shop but retains the iconic blue facade, which has remained in place since filming took place in 1998.
The shop was home to a variety of major scenes including Roberts' character's famous confession of love.
London is home to some other truly unique homes, including one incredibly narrow property set over six storeys - with its own private lift.
The bizarre three-bed property made of glass house has gone up for grabs for a whopping £2million.
Despite being a bit of a tight squeeze, the house boasts three beds and three bathrooms across six storeys with 2,111sq ft of space.
On top of all that, any potential buyer would also bag themselves a private elevator to whizz them from floor to floor.
The Golden Lane home, located in Clerkenwell, central London, was designed in 2004 by an award winning architect, Joe Hagen.
