Greg Abbott’s panic button must be stuck, because the Texas Governor is trotting out the National Guard to “monitor” peaceful protests. Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett isn’t having it.
In a post on X that lit up her feed, Crockett called out Abbott’s latest stunt for exactly what it is: fear. “Texans are protesting peacefully, and Greg Abbott has the National Guard on standby,” she wrote. “Because nothing scares him more than the people standing up and speaking out.”
