‘Not yet paid a big enough price’: Donald Trump sceptical as Iran submits 14-point plan to end war

US President Donald Trump on Saturday said he is reviewing a fresh proposal from Iran but expressed strong doubts over its acceptability, arguing Tehran has not “paid a big enough price” for its past actions.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump said, “I will soon be reviewing the plan that Iran has just sent to us, but can’t imagine that it would be acceptable in that they have not yet paid a big enough price for what they have done to Humanity, and the World, over the last 47 years.”
