'Not harsh': sacking over cannabis cancer research upheld by Fair Work

Cancer Marijuana Fair Work Commission Hunter New England Health

A prominent University of Newcastle professor's claim of unfair dismissal over a research project that used cannabis to treat gynaecological cancer has been rejected by the Fair Work Commission.

Dr Pradeep Tanwar appealed his termination, which was linked to a research partnership between the university and cannabis company Ecofibre.
