Manchester United can jump up to third in the Premier League table with a win over Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
Newcastle’s 3-0 loss to Aston Villa on Saturday means the Reds can go three points ahead of the Magpies in the race for Champions League qualification with just eight games to play. The Reds are without a number of players for the visit of Forest, including Lisandro Martinez.
The defender has been ruled out for the rest of the season amid his metatarsal injury picked up against Sevilla on Thursday. Raphael Varane came off at half-time during the clash and will miss the next few matches due to picking up a knock of his own.

Marcus Rashford, United’s top scorer with 28 goals, is set to miss a second game with a muscle injury while Alejandro Garnacho remains sidelined with his ankle issue. Both Scott McTominay and Luke Shaw missed Thursday’s match but could make the squad for Forest.
United remain the favourites against relegation-threatened Forest, although not everyone believes they will ultimately get the win.
Chris Sutton (BBC Sport)
"This feels like a huge game for Nottingham Forest, who have not won in nine games and are in the bottom three. I am starting to really fear for them.
"I keep on saying it but Forest's terrible away form means they rely so heavily on picking up points at the City Ground and they are under pressure to keep doing that, whoever they face there.
"That makes this game a really interesting one, because Manchester United also need to win it and their away form is not exactly convincing either.
"The return of Casemiro from suspension is a big boost for Erik ten Hag's side but they are going to miss Marcus Rashford while he is out injured and being in the Europa League has left their squad at full stretch. Because of that, I'm going for a draw."
Prediction: Nottingham Forest 1-1 Manchester United
Mark Lawrenson (Paddy Power)
"This should be a Manchester United win. If that happens it will be interesting to see if the Nottingham Forest owner pulls the trigger. It would be hard on Steve Cooper to be fair."
Prediction: Nottingham Forest 0-2 Manchester United
