It follows on from Saturday's dismal 4-1 loss at Manchester City and precedes Sunday's visit from league leaders Arsenal and the Reds head to the capital sitting eighth in the division, eight points behind Tottenham in fourth, who drew 1-1 against Everton on Monday evening.
