Residents and councillors have protested plans for new farm buildings on a Grade II listed estate amid fears it will harm the character of their historic village.
Proposals were lodged with Northumberland County Council to relocate two barns and build new workshops and an estate office at Barnhill Farm near the village of Guyzance in the north of the county.
The plans also include a new access track, hard-standing and garaging which the applicant say will secure the future of farming at the site.
