After storms Dudley, Eunice and Franklin we all need a bit of an escape and for TV fans the return of five popular shows could not have been better timed.
They include the Last Kingdom, inspired by the Saxon Stories series of book by Bernard Cornwell whose hero is is Uhtred of Bebbanburg - what we now know today as Bamburgh in Northumberland.
Then there is the iconic crime drama Peaky Blinders and Killing Eve as well as costume drama Bridgerton and Top Boy about drug dealers in London.

Here, in chronological order, are the five shows, where they can be seen and at what time and date.
Peaky Blinders - BBC1 starting at 9pm on February 27
The title is based on a real life turn of the 20th century Midlands gang notorious for concealing razorblades in their hats which they used as weapons against their rivals.
There have been five series so far starring Cillian Murphy as Tommy Shelby, a World War I veteran turned crime boss who with family members and friends rise to the top of the criminal world.
It has won a legion of fans since it was first broadcast on BBC Two in 2013. Such has been its popularity it was switched to BBC One for the last series.
The show has become a bit of a fashion trendsetter, particularly the hairstyle with many a youngster going into their local barbers to ask for Peaky Blinder cut, so to speak.
The sixth season will be the last and follows on from the failed assassination attempt on fascist leader Oswald Moseley.
With World War II things look likely to get even more complicated for the Shelbys who will have to get along without their matriarch Polly after the death of actress Helen McCrory who played her.
Killing Eve - available on BBC iPlayer, February 28
The acclaimed British spy thriller, based on the Villanelle novel series by Luke Jennings, stars Jodie Comer as a Russian assassin and Sandra Oh as Eve Polastri, a British intelligence officer.
Eve becomes one of Villanelle's targets and the show revolves around the bizarre relationship they develop. It will be the fourth and last series.
The Last Kingdom - available on Netflix, March 7
Great news for the world's best known arseling, Uhtred of Bebbanburg. Fans will recognise the insult used against the warrior by his friend Leofric from the first series which was screened on BBC One as was series two before its switch to Netflix.
Now onto series five, again it will be the final season. The books it is based on were inspired by an ancestor of the author's.
While Cornwell had taken his mother's maiden name as his own, his father was William Oughtred – Oughtred means 'Son of Uhtred' - and there was an Uhtred who was once Lord of Bebbanburg.
He was descended from a Saxon who ruled part of Northumbria in the 550s and was the first of his line to conquer Bebbanburg
In the TV show, Uhtred, the son of an Anglo Saxon nobleman, is captured and raised a Viking.
However after the brutal murder of his Viking family his thirst for revenge sees him his allegiance to Alfred the Great who uses Uhtred fearsome warrior skills to fulfil his ambition is to unite all the kingdoms of England into one country.
The final season sees Alfred's son Edward striving to complete his father's ambition while Uhtred acts as 'protector' of Athelstan, Edward's illegitimate son
While there will be no season six, there will reportedly be a feature length movie that follows on from Season 5 of The Last Kingdom.
This will be called Seven Kings Must Die and it is currently filming and is expected to be broadcast at the end of this year or in mid 2023.
Top Boy - Netflix, March 18
After a two year wait since it was first announced, the fourth series of Top Boy returns to Netflix.
The story follows the exploits of drug dealers Dushane (Ashley Walters) and Sully (Kane Robinson) as they navigate the criminal underworld while plying their trade on the fictional Summerhouse estate, in Hackney, east London.
The evolution of the relationship between these two characters is central to the show - with the pair relying on their wits to overcome their rivals and stay on top.
It began life on Channel Four but after two series the station dropped it. However, Canadian rapper Drake was a fan which saw Netflix take it on.
Bridgerton - Netflix, March 26
Based on the best-selling novels by Julia Quinn, Bridgerton is a costume drama set in Regency London.
The story follows Daphne, the eldest daughter of the powerful Bridgerton family, as she makes her debut on Regency London’s competitive marriage market.
While she aims to emulate her parents and find a match sparked by true love, her older brother begins to rule out potential suitors and the mysterious Lady Whistledown writes a high society ‘scandal sheet’, casting aspersions on Daphne and others, voiced by Julie Andrews no less.
