A passenger shared her concerns after travelling on a "dangerous" Northern rail train.
Emily O'Keeffe, 18, was travelling to university on the 8.10am service from Prescot to Liverpool Lime Street on Thursday, December 1. The Liverpool John Moores student claims commuters were "herded like cattle" on the Northern rail train.
The student, from Prescot, said there were around "30 or 40 people" stood up on her carriage, with more sitting down. She also claims that the guard tried to get through to check tickets.

Emily O'Keeffe said: "You couldn't get a seat. I was stood in one area and there was nothing to hold onto so we were just stood in the middle of the aisle.
"When the train swerves everyone goes flying and it's really dangerous. Someone started shouting 'move down the aisle' but obviously it got so packed. It's not safe honestly.
"There has to be a limit to how many people can be on the train at once. In my opinion, it's going over them every week."
It is not the first time that Northern Rail have come under fire from frustrated commuters. A woman shared her 'journey from hell' with the ECHO in November after two passengers fainted on a packed train.
Regional director at Northern Chris Jackson said: “We are sorry that some of our customers experienced difficult travelling conditions this morning. This was due to two cancelled services having a knock-on effect on this one."
