
The Northern Lights could be visible across parts of the UK again on Sunday night after the rare phenomenon was spotted over the weekend.
Also known as aurora borealis, the bands of pink and green light have been seen across the UK and in parts of Europe in recent days after an “extreme” geomagnetic storm caused them to be more visible, according to the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
