RNLI Lifeguards are appealing to the public to be careful where they swim whilst enjoying the lates spell of hot weather across Northern Ireland.
The warning comes as eight people in the last two days had to be rescued from 'rip currents' on two Northern Ireland beaches.
Lifeguards along the Causeway Coast and in Co Down are appealing to people planning a trip to the beach this week to choose a lifeguarded beach and to only swim between the red and yellow flags.
