Ministers in Northern Ireland have agreed to ease some Covid-19 restrictions, including those on pubs and restaurants.
Restrictions on hospitality are to be eased from tomorrow after a meeting in Stormont today.
From Friday January 21, the rule of six at one table is to be scrapped, and bar service can once again resume.
The cap on the number of households that can meet inside domestic settings will also be removed from tomorrow.
Nightclubs are set to reopen from next Wednesday, January 26, with vaccine passports still required.
Vaccine passports will not be required for any other hospitality settings other than nightclubs from next Wednesday.
The requirement to provide proof of exemption from wearing face coverings will also be removed from tomorrow, and the guidance on working from home will revert to working from home where you can, Belfast Live has reported.
The remaining Covid measures in Northern Ireland, which came in before Christmas amid the wave in Omicron cases, will be reviewed on February 10.
In the north today, another 3,879 confirmed cases of the virus were also recorded in the latest 24-hour reporting period. Two people have also died from Covid-19 during this period.
On Thursday morning, there were 402 Covid-positive patients in hospital, with 24 in intensive care.
In the Republic of Ireland, a meeting with NPHET is underway to decide what restrictions can be eased here.
The 8pm curfew for pubs is expected to be one of the first to go.
