A Harrogate law firm that specialises in inheritance disputes has landed £3.25m investment from BGF.
IDR Law, which says it generates most of its work via word-of-mouth referrals, was launched last year and runs a network with access for hundreds of members. The firm's offer includes online referral and support for contentious issues, training, general resources and commentaries.
It says the BGF backing will allow it to invest in talent and legal tech, as well as expand into the Midlands, the North East and London. And as part of the move, legal expert Charles Layfield will join IDR's board as non-executive chair.
