North Sea oil workers set to benefit from £6 million retraining investment

NEW investment from the Scottish and UK Governments could support more than 1000 oil and gas workers in Scotland to move into jobs in green energy and other sectors, it has been suggested.

Combined investment of £6 million from the two Governments is to be used to expand a skills programme that has already helped more than 400 North Sea workers to retrain.
