Campaigners fighting plans for a £5.6 million block of flats in an affluent area of northwest London are facing defeat as council officers prepare to give the development the green light.
Benedict Cumberbatch and Ed Miliband’s wife Justine Thornton are among residents in Dartmouth Park who have objected to plans to redevelop a two-storey building, called Lamorna, into a five-storey block of flats.
