North Korea has conducted tests of an upgraded long-range cruise missile and a warhead of a tactical guided missile.
Leader Kim Jong Un also visited a munitions factory this week producing a "major weapon system", according to state media KCNA today.
Tension has been simmering over the Hermit Kingdom's series of six weapons tests since the start of 2022, among the largest number of missile launches it has made in a month.
