While it may well seem as though the North East has been blessed with beautiful weather recently, the first day of June tomorrow is set for a whole different state of affairs.
The Met Office predicts overcast skies for the most part, with the clouds bleeding out slightly as the evening rolls around. Highs of 13C and lows of 9C are expected respectively, and no rainfall is anticipated at the time of writing.
Friday however will see the sun's brief hiatus come to an end, with shining skies set for a return around mid morning. Similar highs of 13C and lows of 8C are expected to accompany.
