It's a mixed state of affairs weather-wise across Newcastle and it's surrounding areas as we reach the middle of the week - with conditions varying from hour to hour.
Wednesday's forecast looks to be fairly bleak throughout, with clouds changing from grey, to white, to grey again as the day progresses. Sunny intervals are expected for an hour or so in the evening, with temperatures between 8C and 3C expected.
Thursday will see the sun shine through, and will be especially bright in the morning. Conditions will once more turn to cloudy however as the day rolls by. Highs of 7C and lows of 6C are forecast.
