North East weather: Hour-by-hour forecast for Wednesday and Thursday according to the Met Office

As we inch ever closer to winter, you may start to feel a shift in the weather. However, in Newcastle, it will be quite sunny on Wednesday albeit with some rain in the morning.

The weather will turn drier on Wednesday and the sun is expected to make an appearance before conditions turn cloudy in the late afternoon to early evening. Thursday is expected to be largely cloudy but warmer with highs of around 15°C compared to 12°C on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, looking ahead to Thursday and the weekend, the weather across the North East will often be quite cloudy and windy with periods of rain and gales. It will become dry with sunny spells and lighter winds on Saturday and temperatures have been described as "exceptionally mild".
