After a changeable weekend residents in the North East will be able enjoy a sunny Valentine's Day .
Tuesday's forecast according to weather experts at the Met Office is set to be high temperatures and bright skies from the morning through until the evening, with clouds starting to roll in as the sun begins setting. Respective temperatures between 10C and 4C are anticipated.
But fast forward to Wednesday and conditions are expected to be dark and gloomy, with clouds from the outset and throughout. Although no rain is expected, temperatures should be between 10C and 5C.

For Tuesday, the Met Office says: "Mist and fog clearing on Tuesday morning to some sunshine. Feeling mild by afternoon with light southerly winds.
"Maximum temperature 12 °C."
