North East residents have been greeted by overcast skies and showers over the past couple of days, and the Met Office predicts these will carry on well into the weekend.
Tomorrow's outlook is grey and wet from the outset, however the darker clouds will begin to fade and turn white as the evening progresses. Temperatures are expected to vary between 8C and 3C.
Friday is set for more of the same according to the experts, who predict overcast skies until late afternoon, when the skies turn partially cloudy before the sun sets. Similar highs of 8C and lows of 2C are anticipated.
