The weekend weather in the North East will likely have many of us heading outdoors to our region's beautiful coast and countryside beauty spots, with a warm and sunny couple of days in store.
According to the latest forecast from the Met Office, any low cloud will burn away throughout Saturday morning, giving way to a day full of sunshine. It will be a warm day for many in the region with highs of 17°C, though it may feel cooler along the coastline with an onshore breeze.
Sunday is also set for plenty of sunny spells with some cloud setting in, and similar conditions are expected into the start of next week on Monday and Tuesday. Here's what the weather looks like hour-by-hour in Newcastle over the next two days.
