The weekend weather in the North East will likely have many of us heading outdoors to our region's beautiful coast and countryside beauty spots, with a warm and sunny couple of days in store.
According to the latest forecast from the Met Office, any low cloud will burn away throughout Saturday morning, giving way to a day full of sunshine. It will be a warm day for many in the region with highs of 17°C, though it may feel cooler along the coastline with an onshore breeze.
