North East weather: Hour-by-hour forecast for Sunday and Monday according to the Met Office

The Met Office is predicting that conditions in Newcastle will stay mainly dry on both Sunday and Monday but will be quite cloudy.

Ahead of the Queen's funeral on Monday, the weather across the North East will be largely dry throughout Sunday. It will be slightly overcast over lunch with the slightest chance of rain while the rest of the day is expected to be cloudy.

Meanwhile, looking ahead to Monday, the day will again be mostly dry and cloudy with a small chance of rain. Temperatures will stay mild with a maximum of 14°C in the afternoon.
