The weather across the North East remains bleak over the next couple of days according to weather experts at the Met Office, who predict grey skies and showers as the week progresses.
Tuesday's outlook shows a cloudy day from start to finish, with overcast skies creeping in at lunchtime. However, forecasters don't anticipate any rain tomorrow, with temperatures bouncing between 12C and 7C.
Wednesday looks slightly more fierce in terms of downpours however - with another cloudy day expected before the skies open up in the evening. Lower temperatures between 8C and 3C are anticipated respectively.
