The North East is set for some pleasant wintery weather over the next couple of days, with dry and sunny spells in store on the last weekend of November.
The Met Office forecasts plenty of sunshine on Friday, although temperatures will remain in the single figures and feel like a chilly 7°C at best with some breezy conditions. Meanwhile, Saturday is set to be cloudy after a chilly and bright start, though chances of rain will remain low at around 20% in Newcastle.
