While the North East will see sun come out in intervals tomorrow, the weekend looks much gloomier - with overcast skies predicted to roll in as it progresses.
Tomorrow will be particularly cloudy in the morning and evening, with sunny spells coming across the afternoon. Temperatures between 6C and 2C are expected.
As Saturday comes in, any sight of sun will have dissipated - making way for cloudy and overcast skies throughout. Slightly warmer temperatures between 7C and 4C are anticipated respectively.

The Met Office, says: "Still a chance of a few coastal showers during the morning, otherwise a fine, dry day with mainly light winds and increasing amounts of sunshine for many areas.
"Maximum temperature 6 °C."
