Summer is in swing across the United Kingdom, and the North East is expected to see its fair share of the heat over the coming days.
Although weather experts at the Met Office expect it to be cloudy for the most part tomorrow (12 July), residents and visitors across Newcastle upon Tyne can expect highs of 23 °C subsiding to lows of 17 throughout the night.
A Met Office spokesperson, said: "Cloudy changing to sunny intervals by early evening."
