Could you be a life-saving paramedic or deal calmly with urgent 999 calls on the phone?
The North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) is launching a call for new staff to join up and help provide life-saving care in a range of different roles - and is holding an open recruitment day in Gateshead next week.
The roles available are health advisors, 111 and 999 call handlers, senior clinical advisors nurses and paramedics, advanced practitioner nurses and paramedics, ambulance care assistants, clinical care assistants and paramedics.
The event is at the NEAS education centre in Dukesway in Team Valley. Prospective members of staff will be able to learn about the jobs available. There are still places at the afternoon session running from 1 until 3pm.
Karen O’Brien, director of people and development at NEAS, said: "As an organisation that provides such fantastic services to every part of the North East, we are always on the lookout for people from Redcar to Rothbury, Bishop to Berwick, and everywhere in-between to join our service.
