Norma McGuinness: Edinburgh police launch appeal to help trace missing 56-year-old

Concerns are growing for a missing 56-year-old woman in Edinburgh.

Norma McGuiness, 56, was last seen heading towards Old Dalkeith Road at around 9am on Saturday morning. She has not been seen since.

Police are now launching an appeal for information from the public.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Norma is described as white, around 5ft 5 inches in height, and of slim build. She has strawberry blonde hair and was last seen wearing a beige sun hat, a beige cardigan, a floral summer dress and high heels.

"Anyone who may have seen Norma since this time, or who has any information on her whereabouts is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 1216 of June 3, 2023."
