Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds have announced a homecoming north west gig 45 minutes from Liverpool and a pre sale link goes live tomorrow.
The former Oasis guitarist will perform as part of the High Flying Birds in a special homecoming concert at Wythenshawe Park next year. The gig will take place on August 26, 2023 with support from Primal Scream and Future Islands, Noel has confirmed.
Noel announced the concert following the recent release of single 'Pretty Boy' and a new album is expected to be announced next year. He announced the 'special' homecoming show on Twitter on Wednesday evening, ahead of the sale of the tickets. He wrote: "NGHFB return to Manchester next summer for a special homecoming show at Wythenshawe Park on Sat 26th Aug, 2023. This is their first full headline performance in the city since 2019. Don’t miss out!"

The gig will mark the band's first headline show since 2019 but the band has appeared at a number of festivals in 2022 including a set at Glastonbury's Pyramid Stage in the summer. Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds formed in 2010 and released their first album the same year. Tickets for the show go on general sale this Friday (December 2) at 10am GMT. The pre-sale link goes live tomorrow (December 1) at 12pm.
