Noel Gallagher fined £1,000 for driving offence - despite not being able to drive

Noel Gallagher has been slapped with a £1,000 fine for a driving offence - despite not having a driving licence. It comes after the former Oasis star failed to tell police who was driving his Range Rover when it was caught speeding in London.

Gallagher, 56, was also handed six penalty points for failing to give information relating to the identification of a driver when required by magistrates earlier this week. His Range Rover was speeding at 41mph on a 30mph stretch of the A40 in Edgware Road, West London, last October when it was clocked by a camera, the Evening Standard newspaper reported.
