- The event — "A Culinary Journey Through Peru presented by Crystal" — spotlighted the Nikkei culinary tradition Matsuhisa developed during three formative years cooking in Lima, the same experience that seeded his global restaurant empire of more than 50 locations.
- The NYCWFF, now in its 19th year and presented by Invesco QQQ, runs October 15–18 in New York's Seaport district, with net proceeds benefiting the James Beard Foundation and the Event Zero Foundation.
