Noblehill Primary’s Fairtrade Group is celebrating the award of FairAchiever status for the second time.
It is the highest accolade in the Fairtrade Schools Award system and has taken three years of hard work and collecting evidence of all the Fairtrade activities under way in school.
Teacher Mrs Fiona Boyom, who is the school’s Fairtrade co-ordinator said: “We are very proud and highly appreciative of all the hard work that staff, pupils and the wider community have put in to help us renew our Fairtrade status.
“Our Fairtrade journey began six years ago, working our way through the FairAware and FairActive Awards. We first gained FairAchiever status in 2019 and are delighted to have achieved this once again.
She added: “We are particularly happy this year to be able to offer a Fairtrade school uniform ordering option. Many thanks and a big well done to all.”
