I don’t think anyone can blame Ohio State kicker Noah Ruggles for going silent for a bit. After being nails for two years as the starting placekicker for the Buckeyes (most accurate OSU kicker ever), he couldn’t get the one that mattered the most against Georgia in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl. It was a kick that would have sent the Buckeyes on to the College Football Playoff National Championship game, but the 50-yarder never had a chance from foot to ball.
