DOJ doubles down on prosecuting James Comey over ‘8647’ seashell post

The Department of Justice continues defending its prosecution against former FBI Director James Comey, claiming “there is no serious dispute" that the social media post of seashells he made last year on Instagram could be understood as a threat against President Donald Trump.

Comey's account that the seashells were already in the numerical arrangement of “86 47” when he found them while walking on a beach in North Carolina has been called into question by prosecutors.
