It was another successful week in the Great British Bake Off tent for Lanarkshire teacher Kevin Flynn as he gets ready to appear on Week 4 of the competition.
The 33-year-old was tasked with a tough trio of challenges on last night's episode of the hit show on Channel 4.
But the Hamilton man was up to the task, baking a tasty pizza, a dozen pain aux raisins, and a Swedish celebration cake.
This week, due to two contenders missing out through sickness, the judges decided that nobody should go home, and the 10 bakers will return to the tent next week. However, it means one week in the near future will see a double elimination.
Music teacher Kevin, originally from Motherwell, admitted last night it was "squeaky bum time" as he feared it wasn't his most convincing performance in the kitchen.
However, his 'Now Bring Us Some Figgy Pizza' seemed to be well received as Paul Hollywood and Dame Prue Leith commented on his good choice of flavours.
His base was made up with chilli jam, halloumi and figs.
But it was the technical challenge where Kevin seemed to fall short, finishing seventh out of the eight contestants.
He did go all out though with his showstopper challenge, making a fishy flavoured Swedish celebration cake for the final Bread Week task. He called it 'I've Started So I'll Fin-ish Smorgastarta'.
Talented Kevin has been baking since he was 17, but he also teaches and performs music, mainly on saxophone, as well as flute, piano and clarinet.
Going into this year's Bake Off, he said he's looking to utilise his "good command of flavours and technique" and think on his feet if something goes wrong.
He now hopes to make many people in his community proud during his time on the show.
Kevin told Lanarkshire Live : "It feels great to be representing my local community on The Great British Bake Off. Lots of my friends and family are already fans of the show, and I hope I've brought the joy of the show a bit closer to home.
"So many people have gotten in touch with me to wish me the best and to have a laugh at my facial expressions and mishaps! I feel really well-supported.
"I really set out to be myself and to be true to my roots. My accent might be a bit more difficult to pick up in other parts of the country, and the humour might not always translate, but I'm very much playing for the home team!"
Kevin looks forward to his fourth week in this year's Bake Off tent which will be screened on Tuesday, October 4.
Next week will see the show host its first ever Mexican Week.
As always, the Great British Bake Off sees 12 amateur bakers compete over the series to be crowned Star Baker.
So it's apron on and mixing bowls at the ready for Lanarkshire man Kevin as he looks to claim the coveted prize.
