A senior judge has declined to use a parolee's frenzied homicidal attack on his ex-girlfriend to send a message about domestic violence, after dismissing a prosecution appeal.
Mackenzie Anderson, 21, was stabbed 78 times by her ex-boyfriend Tyrone Thompson in a furious attack in March 2022.
