Ongoing roadworks on County Road have been hit with yet another delay - with no end in sight.
Liverpool Council announced scheduled works in L4 have been rearranged due to what it described as a design review.
A new date for when works will end will be confirmed upon completion of the review.

It is yet more frustration for motorists and residents in the area having already seen work disrupted back in May last year when contractor VIAM, previously trading as Kings, underwent a dispute with the city council before going into administration later in June.
As a result, parts of County Road 's dilapidated surface remained un-repaired with only some parts of the road repaved.
In others, parts of the works are incomplete.
In October last year, a Liverpool Council spokesperson said a new contractor, Huyton Civils, had been appointed and would be carrying out an assessment of the works in “the coming weeks” with a view to completing the new surface in “early 2022.”
Cllr Gerard Woodhouse, Labour councillor for County Ward, said residents were irritated by the ongoing delays.
He said: “We’ve heard nothing about this.
“The contractors had done a terrible job that needed ripping up and it just feels like excuses.”
“It’s just terrible, it’s frustrating that we don’t know when it’s going to be done.
“It’s unsafe driving along that road and people are diverting off onto the main side roads, which isn’t good and a lot of them are one way.”
A programme of road resurfacing on Walton Lane will also begin this evening (Mon) for six to eight weeks, according to Liverpool Council.
The local authority confirmed on Twitter that overnight work will take place from 7pm to 6am Monday to Friday with a full road closure required during each phase.
County Road and Utting Avenue will guide traffic via diversions as part of the first phase.
During home matches for Everton and Liverpool FC at Goodison Park and Anfield, no road maintenance work will be carried out.
In a tweet posted on Sunday, Liverpool Council said it apologised for delays and inconvenience caused by the new works and additional delays to progress on County Road.
