Nnamdi Ofoborh in cryptic Rangers update as he claims 'the mistreatment will come out'

Rangers midfielder Nnamdi Ofoborh has shared a cryptic update on Instagram saying he has been "mistreated" since joining two years ago.

Ofoborh signed for Rangers in the summer of 2021 but has been kept out of action ever since due to a heart issue. He's been at the club under Steven Gerrard, Gio van Bronckhorst and Michael Beale but hasn't made his debut, although still has more than two years to run on the contract he signed two summers ago.

The club and Ofoborh have mostly been silent on his situation as he continues his recovery behind the scenes. Sharing an update on his Instagram story, the 23-year-old posted three images of himself in hospital. He captioned one: "Two years, two operations, hundreds of appointments." And another read: "Silent on the situation so I look like the bad guy, all the mistreatment of the last two years will come out."

"He has been able to do some physical activity but the care and the duty in this one is really big. There is no news officially on it and it is still in the background. I am up to speed with it all but there is a bit of privacy with one as well."

understands that the midfielder has been treated by top cardiac specialists across Europe, and not by the club doctors. Beale last spoke on Ofoborh back in January when he said: "His situation is still with a specialist as you can imagine with that sort of situation the public and the staff here are not experts. You have to seek specialist advice and get more than one opinion.
