Karan Mehra and Charu Asopa's phone hasn't stopped ringing even now, courtesy Rajeev Sen accusing his wife Charu of romancing Karan. In an exclusive interview with ETimesTV then, Karan told us that he is absolutely shocked and unaware of why Rajeev has accused Charu and brought up his name in that connection. Karan said he has been in Delhi for a long time and Charu and he hasn't interacted, so how come there's any romance?
According to Karan, Charu had met him at an event 4 months ago and yes, they did share the personal problems they are having in their respective lives. "But that was all. I don't get what Rajeev is hinting at," he demanded to know. SEE THE FULL INTERVIEW BELOW:
This morning, we asked Karan's estranged wife Nisha Rawal (Karan and Nisha are fighting an ugly battle for legal separation) if she had anything to say about the Charu Asopa-Karan Mehra alleged romance. Nisha said, "No comments." When prodded further, Nisha only said, "I don't want to indulge in this. Everyone is having a lot of problems these days."
Meanwhile, we hear, Charu hasn't called Karan again, after apologising to him about Rajeev's comments.
Rajeev had also shared his reaction to this, He said, “I never used the term affair when I spoke about it. I only said that Charu’s mother disclosed to me through her voice note that her daughter is making reels with Karan Mehra. So, everything I got to know was through Charu’s mother. That’s all I said. I didn’t say anything against Karan. He has misunderstood my statement.” Incidentally, Charu always accused Rajeev of being very suspicious. When asked about this, Rajeev said, “I was protective and possessive of my wife. I wasn’t suspicious of her being involved with anyone.”
