Nintendo will now fix your broken Joy-Cons free of charge, but not everyone is happy

The long-standing issue with Nintendo’s “drifting” analogue sticks on the Nintendo Switch’s Joy-Cons has finally resulted in a victory for UK consumers, just in time for some Easter gaming.

This week, Nintendo quietly updated its Joy-Con support page to explain that the company will repair faulty controllers even if they’re out of the 24-month warranty period.
