Nintendo Switch Sports Resort is the best Nintendo sports game in years – here’s why

We’ve all got those stories from Nintendo’s famous Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort. Tennis matches descending into farcical close range volley fests, Nan quietly being the one to beat everyone at bowling and stories of controllers flying through the air because they’ve not been attached properly.

Those glory days haven’t really been recaptured since Wii Sports Resort was released in 2009. Nintendo Switch Sports was the last entry to release in 2022 and had some good concepts but didn’t have enough to keep players coming back for more.
