Prime Day is here, and as usual, we'll be scouting out the best Nintendo Switch deals the internet has to offer over the next few days.
We're not seeing massive savings at the moment. The Switch remains so popular that we hardly ever see big discounts on, even with rumours of the Nintendo Switch 2 hotting up. We do, however, sometimes see bundle offers or savings on Switch accessories, and we'll be posting these here as and when they come in, along with any deals on the console itself.

Welcome to our Nintendo Switch Prime Day live blog! I'm Rosie Hilder and I'll be here for the next hours or so to bring you the best Nintendo Switch deals that are currently around (don't worry, someone else will be taking over after an hour, and we'll be blogging right through Prime Day). Why should you trust us? We've been covering Switch deals for years, and know how to sniff out an offer. We'll also be letting you know whether we think it's worth holding on to Prime Day proper or whether you should click 'add to basket' now.
If you don't mind a refurbished Switch, then Target has an offer for you. You can get a Switch OLED in the Mario Red Limited Edition for $324.99, that's a $25 saving on the usual price.

If it's games you're after then Best Buy has a decent sale on at the moment. You can get Super Mario Bros U Deluxe for $39.99 (save $20) and Immortals Fenyx Rising Standard Edition for $9.99 (save $20).
Deals on the OLED Switch have proven rare in previous years, but right now in the UK, Amazon is already offering the Mario Red edition for £279 – a saving of £20.
While we're waiting for new deals to appear, why not take a look at all the juciest Nintendo Switch 2 rumours we've heard so far?
If it's the Switch Lite you're after, over in the US Amazon is offering the yellow version for $177, down from $199.
Last month, Nintendo announced a bunch of new games at its latest Direct event. From The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom to Mario & Luigi: Brothership, check out everything announced in June.
If you're happy with a renewed console, Amazon is currently offering the neon red and blue Switch for £199, down from £259.
It's actual Prime Day in the UK now, but there are few official Prime Day Nintendo Switch deals. The offers that are part of Amazon's exclusive member-only sale are on games, including around a third off the price of Hogwarts Legacy (an Amazon exclusive) and Bluey: The Videogame.

Ninety minutes into Prime Day in the UK, and I'm afraid I've found only one more official Nintendo Switch Prime Day deal over than the two games I flagged up in the last post. And...er... it's My Little Pony.
I can't claim to know much about this game, but I like the title "A Zephyr Heights Mystery". That sounds a lot more interesting than My Little Pony.

And consoles? I'm afraid there are not official Prime Day Nintendo Switch console deals in Amazon's UK sale. But you can still get this Switch OLED Mario red edition for £278.99. That's £20 off the previous price at Amazon and £30 off the official price from Nintendo. You might need to be quick though: stock is low.

This white Switch OLED isn't being flagged as part of Prime Day, or even as being a saving of any kind at all, but this price is £39 cheaper than the official retail price of the Switch OLED.

There are a few UK Prime Day deals around on Nintendo Switch accessories. Most of them aren't products that have Nintendo's endorsement, but this is one exception: a Switch-branded SanDisk Micro SDXC card.

There are no Prime Day Nintendo Switch Lite deals in the UK, but pre-orders are open on the shiny gold Hyrule special edition, which comes bundled with 12 months of NSO included.

I'm taking a break now, but our eyes will soon be turning to the US when Prime Day starts stateside at midnight Pacific time. For now, there are already a few general savings about on Amazon US, including $22 off the Nintendo Switch Lite in yellow.

Good morning! I'm checking back in after a break to find that unfortunately... there still aren't really any huge deals floating around on the Nintendo Switch. But I'll keep looking and update you with what I find.

After all our years of covering Switch deals, we're always hoping for a bit more than we get. However, with the launch of Switch 2 happening soon, we would expect something more mind blowing this year. So far, this hasn't happened, but there is time.
